DELEGATE MARY-DULANY JAMES SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Applicant’s home address must be in Legislative District 34A

  • Students who attend Joppatowne, Edgewood, Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, or Perryville High Schools are eligible, as well as any resident of these zip code areas:  21085, 21040, 21001, 21005, 21017, 21078, 21030, 21009 (south of I-95),
    and 21904. 

  • Students of Harford Technical High School, The Tome School, John Carroll High, West Nottingham Academy and Harford Christian School are eligible if residents of the above zip code areas.

Undergraduate Status

  • Full-time: minimum of 12 semester hours
  • Part-time: 6-11 semester hours (must be approved by the State Scholarship Administration)

Graduate Status

  • Full-time: 9 semester hours
  • Part-time: 6-8 semester hours

May Be Used at: 

  • Colleges and Universities in Maryland
  • Out-of-State institutions if major is not offered in Maryland
    (Must be approved by the State Scholarship Administration)
  • Vocational programs which are approved by the State Scholarship Administration

Award renewal: Recipients must reapply each year

HIGHEST PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS.
IF FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE, PREVIOUS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
WILL BE CONSIDERED.
