Delegate Mary-Dulany James Successfully Obtains Much-Needed Funds: Citizen's Care Nursing Home Recei
28-Mar-2006Annapolis, MD - Delegate Mary-Dulany James, representing both Cecil and Harford Counties, secured one half million dollars for the Harford County Citizen's Care & Rehabilitation Center in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Delegate James and the entire Harford County House Delegation were surprised and disappointed that the Senate only provided a meager $100,000 for this project when $600,000 was needed. So Delegate James stepped in quickly and working with the Capital Budget Subcommittee Chair, Adrienne Jones and her counterpart in the Senate, Edward Kasemeyer, she was able to secure another $500,000. This is the most money for a local Bond project that Harford County has ever received.
