High-Tech Private Sector Jobs

A strong job market is one of the keys to a healthy economy, and as your Delegate for the last 16 years, I have worked hard to help the private sector create jobs right here in Harford County. In furtherance of this mission, I am pleased to announce that the Northeastern Maryland Additive Manufacturing Innovation Authority (NMAMIA) has created two Joint Work Statements for Collaborative Research and Development Agreements with area manufacturing companies:  Integrata Security and Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Technologies, LLC, based in Fallston, Maryland.

This past year in Annapolis I sponsored legislation to create NMAMIA, which functions as a partnership between the military, State government, and the private sector to allow private businesses to access the vast technology and hardware located on Aberdeen Proving Ground.  NMAMIA was designed to improve the accessibility of, and connections between, existing infrastructure, expertise, and educational resources within and outside the region; facilitate cooperation in the development of new products and processes; bridge gaps between research, product development, and the commercial application of new technologies and manufacturing processes; and facilitate the involvement of Harford Community College, Cecil College, Towson University, and other segments of the higher learning community in developing and sustaining a skilled additive manufacturing workforce through degree, certification, specialized training, and continuing education programs.

Lets work together to bring good paying jobs to Harford County.

Thank you!
